During natural catastrophes, UNFPA personnel are on the ground helping expectant mothers and infants who have lost everything.
UNFPA is offering:
- For pregnant women to receive life-saving care and have safe deliveries, emergency maternal health services and supplies are available.
- For expectant moms and their newborns, newborn kits are available. These kits include essentials like diapers, clothing, blankets, and soap.
- Dignity Kits for displaced women and girls that contain the tools they need to handle their periods with respect.
- Services for women and girls who have been forced to flee.
