“Let’s use our remaining time in Egypt to build the bridges needed to make progress on 1.5, adaptation, finance and loss & damage”, said Simon Stiell.

“Paris handed us the deal,” he reiterated. We received the blueprint from Glasgow and Katowice. The focus moves to implementation in Sharm El-Sheik. No one on this journey can be merely a passenger. This is a sign that the world has changed.
He also said, “We will be holding people to account – be they Presidents, Prime Ministers or CEOs, an Accountability-Chief, if you may. Because our policies, our businesses, our infrastructure, our actions, be they personal or public, must be aligned with the Paris Agreement and with the Convention.”
