President Xi Jinping met with Argentina’s President Alberto Fernández in Bali.
According to President Xi, this year will be significant for the advancement of China-Argentina relations. 2022 has been proclaimed as the Year of China-Argentina Friendship and Cooperation by the two presidents. The 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations was joyfully commemorated by the two countries, who also increased bilateral communication and collaboration in a number of areas. As significant developing nations and emerging economies, China and Argentina must adopt a strategic mindset while creating a plan for the development of their relationship and strive for ongoing success in their comprehensive strategic cooperation.
President Xi emphasized that China is willing to share more of its governance expertise with Argentina. The two nations assist one another in pursuing a growth path that takes into account the national circumstances, the expectations of the populace, and contemporary demands. They aid one another in defending one another’s interests in security, development, and sovereignty. The Belt and Road initiative has to be accelerated while increasing cooperation in other areas, including agriculture, energy, infrastructure, space, and youth and subnational levels of culture, media, education, sports, and other activities.
