Embassy of Ethiopia has opened in Pakistan to promote trade and economic relations between the two countries, announced Ethiopian Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Redwan Hussain Rameto.
“Ethiopia is considering providing visa-on-arrival facility for businessmen from Pakistan so that they can easily visit the African nation in a bid to explore business opportunities,” Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ICCI) said.
The new Ambassador of Ethiopia to Pakistan, Jemal Beker Abdula said that Ethiopia’s decision to formally kick-started its diplomatic mission from Islamabad would help out to further strengthen bilateral trade and economic relations between the two countries.
On September 11 Ethiopia celebrated its new year known in Amharic, the official language of Ethiopia as Enkutatash, this holiday marks 1 Meskerem, the first day in the Ethiopian calendar.
The Ambassador H.E Jemal Beker has organized an event in his residence with his ethiopian collegues, and diplomats.
