The COP27 climate summit in Egypt entered its last week, with almost 200 nations vying for a deal to guide the globe toward reducing greenhouse gas emissions and scaling up money for those suffering from the effects of climate change.
US climate envoy John Kerry has stated that his country is prepared to tackle loss and damage at the Cop27 meeting.
He said that Joe Biden was also supportive. “We are 100% ready, (the president) has said, to discuss the issue of loss and damage. That’s why it’s on the agenda. We want closure.
