Austria Announces Free Education For Pakistani Students On Scholarship

Despite being a smaller country, Austria is well-recognized worldwide due to its academic excellence. The universities in Austria have made it to the international rankings. The universities are famous for providing high quality education, keeping in view of the recent advances in education globally. The research oriented study program, open-minded atmosphere, secured learning places, and cultural diversity have made Austria one of the most popular destinations for study abroad.

The higher institutes of Austria offer a broad spectrum of academics, theory, and research. There is a wide range of degree programs offered in the universities of Austria. There are almost 35 universities present in Austria: 21 universities for Allied Sciences and 141 university colleges for Teacher Education. However, students are required to learn German to apply to any university in Austria. There are some programs that are also taught in English, especially at the postgraduate level. On average, a total of 15% of students come from abroad to study in Austria.

What Is PAF-IAST?

The Pak-Austria Fachhochschule Institute of Applied Sciences and Technology is an independently chartered public sector university. The institute has various national and international collaborations. Among the international collaborations, the Pak-Austria Fachhochschule Institute of Applied Sciences and Technology includes partnerships with Austrian and Chinese universities. The institute aims to lead the path to prosperity and to advance Pakistan’s high-tech industries. The institute is committed to raise the standards of education in Pakistan and is well aware of the fact of linking employment with education.

Scholarships Announced For Pakistani Students

The Pak-Austria Fachhochschule Institute of Applied Sciences and Technology provides different scholarships for its students. The scholarships that are being offered at PAK – IAST includes the following:

  • Merit Based Scholarships
