The Makkah Al-Mukarramah Convention aims to improve law enforcement agencies’ ability to work together effectively and quickly in the fight against corruption by giving them a legal framework for sharing information and conducting investigations in a timely manner, as well as by helping to deter crime related to corruption. The reason for the meeting is Saudi Arabia’s eagerness to launch its global initiatives to fight corruption alongside the rest of the world.
