Top five wishes for climate action in 2023

The Climate Promise team at UNDP has chosen their top five wishes for climate action in 2023. They want to see coal, oil, and gas phased out and replaced with clean, renewable energy sources. Investing in adaptation finance should move higher up the global agenda in order to limit climate change damage and benefit affected communities. They would like to see an operational loss and damage fund established for countries that are the primary victims of climate change impacts but endure little responsibility for the problem itself. They hope that more people will take on roles as organisers, educators, entrepreneurs, communicators, and innovators in the fight against climate change.
