The United Arab Emirates wasn’t always the dominant country that it is now. In reality, the nation was split up into opposing tribal tribes that each controlled a distinct region. Britain joined the picture in 1820 and provided the tribes with security in exchange for limited land control. The different tribes, desperate for peace, accepted this offer and gave Britain control of resolving their conflicts. After beginning to suffer financial losses in 1968, Britain withdrew from the picture.
The rulers of Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Ajman, Al-Ain, Sharjah, and Umm al-Quwain made the decision to merge following Britain’s withdrawal from the scenario. The United Arab Emirates was established after the emirates declared their independence from Britain on December 2, 1971. (UAE).
