The palestinian and rapid rescue team (PRRT) arrives in Pakistan

Following the instructions of President Mahmoud Abbas, the Palestinian Rapid Response and Rescue team (PRRRT) arrives in Pakistan, to contribute to the relief efforts to face the effects of the floods, & catastrophic repercussions.

A 27-member Palestinian Disaster Response Team arrived in Islamabad on Saturday to express solidarity with Pakistan in the wake of devastating flood.

It is part of the Palestinian people’s campaign launched last month to help the flood victims in Pakistan.

Addressing a news conference in Islamabad, Ambassador of the State of Palestine to Pakistan Ahmed Jawad Rabel said people of Palestine are raising funds and collecting medicines for flood affectees.

He said Palestinian people stand by Pakistani brethren in this hour of need.

The Additional Secretary Ministry of Foreign Affairs Javed Ahmed Umrani thanked the delegation of Palestine for showing a great gesture to help the flood affectees in Pakistan.
