Mr Adam M. Tugio, the Indonesian ambassador, expressed his gratitude to the Punjab government and business community for their active support and collaboration in fostering bilateral economic relations between Indonesia and Pakistan. Speaking to a large group of influential businesspeople at a reception held by the Indonesian Embassy in Lahore, Ambassador Tugio expressed his gratitude to all of Indonesia’s friends for helping to maintain the strong momentum of their mutual cooperation for successful economic advances.
Ambassador Tugio said that year 2022 remained quite successful in maintaining productive interaction and particularly mentioned the establishment of the Indonesian Desk at LCCI and the ASEAN Trade Desk at ICCI and RCCI. The envoy also presented on behalf of the Government of Indonesia, the prestigious “Prima Duta award” to the selected importers from Pakistan for their best performance in increasing trade with Indonesia.
