In the wake of two fatal earthquakes that struck 10 provinces in southern Türkiye. Many governments have sent search and rescue teams there. On the other hand International assistance has included medical supplies, medical staff and financial support. They also sent rescue teams, rescue dogs, high-tech equipment, heaters, and generators.

Kahramanmaras region which includes Adana, Adiyaman, Diyarbakir, Gaziantep, Hatay, Kilis, Malatya, Osmaniye, and Sanliurfa were among the ten provinces. There are 13 million people reported feeling the effects of the magnitude 7.7 and 7.6 earthquakes.

Two powerful earthquakes that shook southern Türkiye on Monday claimed the lives of more than 17,600 people. In result injured close to 73,000 more.Türkiye in less than 10 hours shooked by powerful tremors were noticed in several nations in the region, including Syria and Lebanon.

More than 120,344 search and rescue workers are currently employed in the field (AFAD) data released by Disaster and Emergency Management Presidency. The figure came out that 30,360 persons were evacuated from the earthquake-affected areas

Moreover,Türkiye Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu said 95 countries and 16 international organisations offered to help. Many sending search and rescue teams, medical personnel, mobile clinics, and relief supplies to the earthquake-stricken area.

Whereas, Cavusoglu the nation’s capital Ankara, stated that there were currently 6,479 personnel from 56 different nations deployed. At the news conference, he and his Türkiye Republic of Northern Cyprus counterpart Tahsin Ertugruloglu said, “Teams from 19 additional nations will be in our country within 24 hours” (TRNC).

AFAD mentioned a total of 97,973 family tents have been erected to house survivors. Countries from around the world helped with 10,363 vehicles, such as bulldozers, tractors, and excavators, were dispatched to the disaster region.

The areas of Türkiye that were affected by the earthquake have a three-month state of emergency that went into effect on Thursday.

Following the earthquakes, messages of sympathy and support for Türkiye flooded in from all around the world, with many sending rescue teams and humanitarian aid.
