Pakistani Ambassador Nabeel Munir addressed the Global Health Security Agenda (GHSA) 2022 Ministerial Meeting in Seoul, He appreciated GHSA for its assistance to Pakistan as well as its efforts to promote international cooperation in identifying, preventing, and reacting to global public health emergencies. Although, the Pakistani Ambassador appeared as a panellist in the “The Pandemic Fund” side event that was held in conjunction with the Global Health Security Agenda (GHSA) 2022 Ministerial Summit. as a G20 initiative. The World Bank established the Fund to finance important investments in countries like Pakistan to improve pandemic prevention, preparedness, and response capacity at national, regional, and international levels. Meanwhile, a bilateral meeting was held between a Pakistani delegation led by Ambassador Nabeel Munir and a delegation from the Korean Disease Control and Prevention Agency (KDCA) led by Vice Commissioner Mr Hyun Jun Kim. Potential directions for advancing the two countries’ bilateral healthcare cooperation were discussed.
