Knut Ostby, Resident Representative of UNDP Pakistan, and Norway in Pakistan signed a one-year agreement for the project ‘Advancing Realization of United Nations Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights in Pakistan.’
Through the project, the UNGPs will be implemented, upholding the rights of marginalised communities and informal workers in the textile industry. The Norwegian Embassy and UNDP Pakistan have a long history of working well together, and they look forward to continuing that legacy.
