As part of its dedication to easing the suffering of Pakistan’s flood affected people, the Government of the Republic of Korea has contributed to sign an MOU with WFP to continue its support for the vulnerable people of Baluchistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
At this building, which serves as the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Islamabad, there was a signing ceremony. The Ambassador of the Republic of Korea, Suh Sangpyo, and the Representatives of WFP, Rathi Pala, met and signed memorandums of understanding (MoUs).
The Country Representatives extended their gratitude to the Korean Ambassador and the Korean Government for their unwavering support. They went on to say that this donation will be put to use to support frontline healthcare centers and hospitals, provide lifesaving food assistance, and ensure continued access to COVID-19 vaccines for displaced people in Pakistan, as well as in the provinces of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Baluchistan. All of these services will be provided in the provinces of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Baluchistan.
