Ongoing Confrontation Intensifies
Israeli military spokesperson Daniel Hagari disclosed that the encirclement of Gaza City was completed nearly a week after Israeli forces expanded their ground operations in the Hamas-governed enclave. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, while acknowledging impressive successes, affirmed that Israeli forces were at the “height of the battle” and continued to advance. The conflict in Gaza has attracted growing condemnation, particularly following successive air raids on the Jabalia refugee camp in northern Gaza.
