Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari arrived in New York to convene a special ministerial conference of the G77 and China at the UN Headquarters. The conference of the G77 and China, the largest negotiating group of developing nations inside the UN system, will take held on December 15–16, and the foreign minister will serve as both host and chair. The conference’s programme calls for a discussion of the various difficulties that developing nations confront in achieving Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in the face of the Covid-19 epidemic, natural disasters brought on by climate change and geopolitical changes. From December 14 to December 21, the foreign minister will be in the United States on official business. His schedule includes numerous bilateral and multilateral meetings in New York and Washington, DC.
