Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif attended a photo exhibition titled “Floods in Pakistan – A Climate Change” in the lobby of the United Nations Secretariat on Thursday, September 23, 2022.
The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting organized the exhibition to highlight the effects of climate change on the occasion of the 77th session of the United Nations General Assembly.
According to the Prime Minister, the flood cost the country $30 billion. Standing crops on four million acres were destroyed. One million homes were destroyed, and hundreds of bridges were destroyed.
