China to work with Russia for a just global governance: Xi tells Medvedev

China-Russia relations have withstood the test of changes in the international landscape and always developed at a sound and stable high level said, President Xi Jinping. Xi made the remarks during a meeting with Dmitry Medvedev, who was on a visit to China at the invitation of the Communist Party of China Central Committee. The two sides agreed to upgrade their relations to a comprehensive strategic partnership of coordination for the new era in June 2019. The Russian leader expressed hope that China’s development will benefit the whole world and called for closer cooperation between the two sides. Medved said Russia is ready to strengthen the exchanges of experience in governance with the CPC. He also reiterated Russia’s willingness to solve the Ukraine crisis through peace talks.
