China sends 100 million yuan emergency aid materials for flood victims in Pakistan.The aid materials include 13,000 tents, 1,000 boxes of compressed cakes, 10,000 blankets, and 10 tons of tomatoes.
Since the floods struck the country, China has come to Pakistan’s aid as a true friend and brother in need. The Chinese government has provided 400 million yuan ($55.77 million) in humanitarian aid, and China’s civil society has also assisted.
“We will continue to do everything in our power to assist the Pakistani people in overcoming the floods and rebuilding their homes as soon as possible,” said Wang Wenbin, a spokesperson for the Chinese Foreign Ministry.
