On Monday, both China and Mongolia vowed to work together to advance modernization and pursue a common future characterised by peaceful cohabitation, solidarity, and win-win cooperation.
During meetings at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing, President Xi Jinping and visiting Mongolian President Ukhnaa Khurelsukh decided to increase bilateral cooperation in vital areas such as the economy, trade, energy, mining, and infrastructure.
Xi rolled out the red carpet for Khurelsukh, who arrived in China on Sunday for a two-day state visit, his first since taking office in June 2021.
He stated that it serves the fundamental interests of both peoples to maintain the long-term stability of good neighbourliness and cooperative relations between China and Mongolia, two important neighbours.
