Cheapest & expensive countries to live in the world
Share on FacebookShare on Twitter

The amount of money required to maintain a specific standard of life is known as the cost of living. Basics like housing, groceries, taxes, and healthcare are included in the cost of living.

The cost of living can be extremely high in some nations, especially in the areas around major cities. For instance, the cost of living in American cities like New York and San Francisco is extremely high, but it may be noticeably cheaper in rural locations like Mississippi, Kansas, or Oklahoma.

Furthermore, regardless of where in the United States (or the world) one resides, costs may be lower — or even greater — in another nation. Certain countries have extremely cheap costs of living, which can make them desirable locations for expats, retirees, and other people looking to cut costs.

Typically, cost of living calculations begin by calculating the price of several necessities, such as rent or mortgage, health care, and a piece of bread, in a certain city. The price of those items is then contrasted with the cost in a reference city, such as New York City in the United States or Prague in the Czech Republic.

In order to allow for nation-to-nation comparisons, the data for each area within a specific country are finally averaged. The maths is interpreted differently in each source, leading to slightly distinct listings. The cheapest countries include, Pakistan, egypt & India highest in number
