Canada High commission in collaboration with ACTED a humanitarian organization that works with the World Food Programme (WFP) in Pakistan to provide assistance to people affected by natural disasters such as floods. ACTED and WFPPakistan work together to address the needs of flood-affected communities of Pakistan 2022 by providing essential services such as food assistance, shelter, and access to clean water. They also support the rebuilding of homes and livelihoods, so that people can get back on their feet and start to recover from the disaster.
The goal of ACTED and WFPPakistan is to support people in need and help them to become more resilient in the face of future disasters. This includes providing disaster risk reduction training, improving access to basic services, and supporting the development of community-based early warning systems. By working together, ACTED and WFPPakistan is helping to build stronger, more resilient communities in Pakistan.
