Mumtaz Zahra Baloch has replaced Asim Iftikhar and proudly became the as the new Foreign Office spokeswoman.
In addition to serving as the ambassador to South Korea in the past, Baloch has over 20 years of expertise in foreign affairs and has held positions in the US and China.
Mumtaz Baloch is a career diplomat who has held a number of diplomatic positions, including second secretary at Pakistan’s permanent mission to the United Nations in Geneva, the Deputy Head of Mission at Pakistan’s embassy in Beijing, Washington, D.C., and worked as an ambassador of Pakistan in the Republic of Korea.
