The German Minister of State Dr. Tobias Lindner visits Pakistan to meet his Pakistani counterpart Hina Rabbani Khar and review bilateral relations between Pakistan and Germany. This will be his first visit to Pakistan.
The discussions will be regarding economic cooperation, climate change and regional matters of mutual interest.
This visit has taken place within days of the visit of the Foreign Minister of Pakistan Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and Minister of State Hina Rabbani Khar to Germany for the Munich Security Dialogue.
The Spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said that the visit of the German Minister of State for Foreign Affairs will also build on the recent visits exchanged between the two sides last year at the level of Foreign Ministers.
A spokesperson said, “We will continue to pursue enhanced engagement and dialogue with Germany.”
