In order to express condolences on behalf of the Pakistani government and people following the passing of former Chinese President Jiang Zemin, Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari went to the Chinese consulate on Thursday.
The foreign minister wrote in the condolence book that the deceased former president had a 50-year relationship with Pakistan and that, with his passing, China was left without a great leader.
The foreign minister said that Jiang Zemin had a significant role in the development of China. He said the former Chinese president would be remembered as a great world leader who established his identity at the international level besides promoting world peace and progress.
