At a presentation of credentials ceremony at the Aiwan-e-Sadr, President Dr. Arif Alvi received the diplomatic credentials of the ambassadors-designate of the Netherlands, Denmark, Switzerland, Finland, Zimbabwe, and Senegal.
Henny Fokel de Vries, Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, Jakob Linulf, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Denmark, Ambassador of Switzerland Finland’s Ambassador, Georg Steiner Hannu Ripatti, Lt Gen (Retd) Martin Chedondo, Non-Resident High Commissioner of Zimbabwe, and Saliou Niang Dieng, Non-Resident Ambassador of Senegal, presented their credentials and made separate calls on the president.
In a meeting with the Dutch ambassador, the president stated that Pakistan wished to establish a long-term and multifaceted partnership with the Netherlands, particularly in trade, agriculture, investment, energy, culture, education, and people-to-people contacts.
