Canadian High Commissioner H.E Wendy Gilmour visited Gilgit. She was thrilled to learn about the Women’s Sports Gala & interacted with the organizers of the event.
She also played with the practicing Girls’ Hockey Team.
During a visit to the United Kingdom in January of this year, she officiated an ice hockey match between young girls in Altit, Hunza, the images of which prompted praise for the diplomat for encouraging winter sports in Pakistan and advocating for female athletes.
