The Embassy of Pakistan, Kazakhstan organized a fundraising event for flood affectees on 25th September 2022 at Astana International Hotel, Almaty Kazakhstan.
The event was attended by members of the Pakistani community, prominent businessmen, and Pakistani students studying at various universities in Kazakhstan. The event started with reciting the Holy Quran and the national anthem. Mr. Muhammad Farooque, Trade & Investment Counselor, welcome the guest, and videos showing the devastating effects of floods in Pakistan were run on the screen.
Brig. Mumtaz Ali, Defence Attaché, Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan Kazakhstan gave a detailed presentation about the devastating effects of floods in Pakistan and efforts made by the different Pakistan government departments to help the affected people.
