Canada High Commission to Pakistan announced they are reaching $1.2 billion per year, and new opportunities for collaboration in renewable energy, information technologies and responsible mining abound.

Tim Hortons has announced plans to open dozens of new outlets across Pakistan in the coming years, with a first site in Lahore to open in 2022.
The announcement, made on social media without revealing further details of the launch, follows existing expansion plans for the Canadian coffee chain, which currently operates in four Asia Pacific markets.
Tim Hortons said on LinkedIn: “Tim Hortons is planning to open dozens of new restaurants across Pakistan in the coming years, starting with its first in Lahore later this year. More information to come!”
The coffee chain first entered the region with store in The Philippines in 2017, where it currently operates around 40 stores. In 2019 Tim Hortons entered the Chinese market and currently operates more than 400 stores across the country. It opened its first store in Thailand in 2020, where it operates around ten stores.
Tim Hortons, which first opened in 1964, operates approximately 5,300 outlets in 13 countries internationally, the majority of which are in Canada. The company is owned by Restaurant Brands International, which reported system-wide sales growth of 14% for the first quarter of 2022.
