The EU-North Macedonia Stabilization and Association Council held its 16th meeting on Friday in Skopje.
Dimitar Kovachevski, the prime minister of North Macedonia, Josep Borrell, and Oliver Varhelyi. The EU commissioner for enlargement, oversaw discussions on the admission plan, which included political and economic criteria.

“The doors are now open for North Macedonia to become a full member of the EU,” declared Borrell.

North Macedonia’s complete adherence to EU foreign policy was praised by Borrell.
According to Borrell, North Macedonia has shown “unqualified support for and full alignment with the EU’s foreign policy.
According to Varhelyi, this gathering is a sign that North Macedonia is on the verge of joining the EU.
“To advance membership, we need to be united as a nation. Naturally, we’ll keep doing our lot to quicken the negotiation process’s foundation “Varhelyi stated.
Kovachevski claimed North Macedonia is implementing European values.
As bold as it may sound, Kovachevski and the rest of the administration are confident. The Republic of North Macedonia will now be successfully finished in November.
Later, Borrell met with Stevo Pendarovski, the president of North Macedonia, and leaders of political parties.
