Rice imports from Pakistan to Azerbaijan are dutcustoms-free.

The Azerbaijani embassy here received the decision made by the ministerial council of Azerbaijan, which approved the request the other day, in Baku. The exemption, which will last for five years, represents efforts to promote trade between the two friendly nations. The current Pakistani administration has made a number of measures to increase trade between Pakistan and Azerbaijan, and both nations are now in talks to strengthen their commercial connections at various levels. Until December 31, 2027, rice from Pakistan with the same origin is exempt from import customs duties, according to the official notification of the Azerbaijani government. The government has praised the actions done by Azerbaijan’s leadership to promote trade between the two nations.
