Following the outcome of the negotiations, Kazakhstan’s President, K. Tokayev, directed the Government of Kazakhstan to provide additional humanitarian assistance to the Islamic Republic.
In this regard, by Declaration of the Government of Kazakhstan dated 6 January 2023, it was decided to provide the Islamic Republic of Pakistan with additional financial assistance in the amount of $500 thousand US dollars to aid in the elimination of the devastating effects of the flood, which resulted in numerous casualties.
The Government of Pakistan received the first instalment of financial humanitarian aid from the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan in August 2022.
