Hassan al-Shaibani Discusses Syrian Fate Under Interim Administration setting a precedent for a participatory political framework.

A Vision for Syria’s Future
In an exclusive interview with Al Jazeera, Hassan al-Shaibani, a key figure in Syria’s interim administration, provided insight into the government’s immediate goals and long-term vision for the nation. With Ahmed al-Sharaa at the helm as commander-in-chief, the administration is determined to rebuild a war-torn Syria, focusing on reconciliation, stability, and sustainable development. Al-Shaibani described the conference as a platform to “clarify a great deal about the path forward,” emphasizing its role in fostering unity and consensus. The interim administration aims to ensure transparency and inclusivity in the dialogue process, setting a precedent for a participatory political framework.

Overcoming Challenges to Rebuild Syria
Al-Shaibani acknowledged the immense challenges facing the interim administration, from economic recovery to addressing the humanitarian crisis. The administration is focused on restoring basic services, rebuilding infrastructure, and creating job opportunities to revive Syria’s economy. He stressed the importance of international cooperation, calling on global powers to support Syria’s recovery without interfering in its sovereignty. “Syria’s resilience lies in its people,” he said, highlighting the administration’s efforts to prioritize citizen welfare in all policy decisions.

Under Ahmed al-Sharaa’s leadership, the interim administration is promoting a collaborative approach to governance. Al-Shaibani praised al-Sharaa’s ability to unite diverse factions and maintain a clear vision for Syria’s future. He reiterated the administration’s dedication to fostering trust between the government and the people, viewing this relationship as essential for long-term stability.
