Ukraine will get Iveco Irisbus Crossway buses, also known popularly as cloud buses, which operated transport lines in Estonia. Nine additional buses will leave the following week. Estonia wants to provide Ukraine with complete assistance, especially by assisting people in re-establishing their daily life despite Russia’s ongoing conflict, according to Foreign Minister Urmas Reinsalu. He remarked, “I hope that these buses assist the citizens of the Zhytomyr Oblast in securely arriving at their destinations.”
Estonia has dispatched 20 buses to Ukraine to assist with the restoration of the Zhytomyr Oblast’s transportation network. In June, the buses were earlier delivered to the Butcha neighbourhood of Kyiv. To keep the buses in operation, Estonian businesses will repair and maintain them. With about €18.8 million coming from the private and nonprofit sectors and €2.2 million from the official sector, Estonia has donated to Ukraine humanitarian relief totalling around €21 million. Food, temporary housing, medications, ambulances, rescue tools, and IT technology have all been provided as aid.
