The annual request for ideas for the Canada Fund for Local Projects has just been released by the Canadian High Commission in Pakistan (CFLI).
The CFLI is a programme created to assist small-scale, high-impact initiatives in developing nations that fit with the engagement priorities of Foreign Affairs Canada.
The programme is focused on initiatives created and planned primarily by regional partners in Pakistan. The relevant Canadian embassy or high commission chooses and approves projects. Through strengthening connections and assisting local initiatives, the CFLI also supports good relations between Canada and recipient nations and their civic communities.
Actions related to the environment and climate are centred on water management as well as adaptation and mitigation.
